Collection: Summer Sunshines

Last year, the Lord reminded me of his sovereignty when I was walking through a season of anxiety. One day, I saw a perfect circle on the wall, like a reflection of some sort, and I was totally puzzled. Finally, I realized it was the sunshine. The sun was coming through a window from the other room perfectly and shining through the crack of a door that my toddler had just pushed almost to a close. I felt so much peace in that moment, and that the Lord was reminding me of his sovereignty over everything - he tells the sun to rise and has written all of our days even before we were born. I hope these pieces will remind you of the goodness of the Lord even in hard times and give you a sense of peace.
